How to Choose a Garden Hose

Do you need a new hose for your yard? They can range from 10 to 100 feet long. A hose that’s a ½ an inch thick delivers 9 gallons of water a minute. A thicker hose delivers more. Rubber hoses are heaviest, but stand up best to extreme weather. You should always keep your garden hose rolled up. You can use a wall hanger like this or keep it coiled in a hose pot. To help your hose last longer, store it out of direct sunlight. Remember to drain your hose completely before freezing temperatures set it.
